
These lovely studies for the Centaurettes from "Fantasia" were named "Melinda and Suzanne" in animation descriptions and on the model sheets--after Fred Moore's two daughters (who were much younger than these teenaged sirens at the time).

Fred was so great. I used to have the animation sequence where the girl dances in and out of her clothing... so sorry I let it go.
Ohhh...heartbreaker, Bill! I'm not surprised you had that. I too have let a couple of irreplaceable things go. I'm sure all our stuff is in a good home, wherever it is.
I hope one of these days we'll see it all in a museum--like the returned Kilmts at LACMA, eh? ; )
